Adopt a Friend for Life
When you adopt from the Animal Orphanage, you’re not just bringing home a pet—you’re saving a life and making room for another animal in need. Adopting means giving a second chance to a loving cat, dog, bunny, or even a barn buddy who’s been waiting for a forever home.
And for you? There’s joy in finding that perfect companion and satisfaction in helping a pet in need in your local community. Studies show that pets reduce stress, bring joy, and can even improve your health—so really, who’s rescuing who?

Tips for Choosing the Right Pet
Finding your new furry (or feathered!) family member is an exciting adventure. Here’s how to make the right match:
1. Consider Your Lifestyle
Are you an active person who loves long hikes, or do you prefer snuggling on the couch with a good book? Different pets have different energy levels and personalities. Ask our friendly shelter staff about animals who would thrive in your
environment.
2. Think Long-Term
Adopting a pet is a lifelong commitment. Ensure you’re ready to provide the care, time, and love they deserve.
3. Ask Us Where There’s the Most Need
Some animals have been waiting longer for a home or may have special needs. Adopting them can be incredibly rewarding. Just ask—we’d love to introduce you!
