Dogs Day Out is a special program that gives our shelter dogs a break from kennel life and a chance to explore the world with a loving companion! Volunteers can take a dog on an adventure—whether it’s a walk in the park, a car ride, or a cozy afternoon at home. This enriching experience helps our pups relax, socialize, and show off their true personalities, increasing their chances of finding a forever home. Sign up today and make a shelter dog’s day! 🐶💕
Helping Our Dogs De-Stress & Find Their Perfect Match!
This program helps us see how they behave in a different environment, which can reveal traits and habits we might not notice in the kennel setting. It also helps take away some of the stress of kennel life, giving our pups a much-needed break and the opportunity to relax, which can increase their chances of finding a forever home.
After each adventure, we ask that you fill out a quick report on how the outing went, so we can learn more about the dog’s behavior and experience in different settings.

If you have your own pets, they must be up to date on vaccinations, spayed/neutered, and a meet & greet is required before any Dog Day Out adventures.
